Interested in Working Together?
Our wealth management process begins with a thirty minute call.
01
Introductory Call
Everyone comes into the planning process with different questions. This meeting is an opportunity for you to tell us the questions that YOU want answered. It's also a chance for us to get to know each other.
02
Information Request
Based on our first call, we will send a list of documents we need to begin the planning process. Typical requests include account statements, Social Security and pension estimates, and last year's tax return. Documents can be uploaded via our secure planning portal.
03
Draft Meeting
We'll review the first draft of your plan. You'll have the chance to tell us which parts you like and which parts you would like to see differently, i.e. what would happen if you increase your spending, live longer, or change your investments.

At the end of the meeting, you will gain peace of mind and clarity on the path forward.
04
Final Draft
Financial plans are always in draft, as the underlying assumptions are always changing. For that reason, we always consider our plans to be in draft. Our final draft consists of two parts: a two page executive summary and the full underlying plan.
The executive summary provides an overview of your financial situation, future goals, and a detailed explanation of the recommendations we covered in the draft meeting.

The full plan lives in our planning software, RightCapital. Clients can see an updated version of their plan at any time, including current account values.
05
Begin Our Client Onboarding Experience
We make it stress free. It's an experience, not a process.
FINANCIAL
PLANNING
A Holistic Approach

Financial planning is often full of jargon and confusing language. Our job is to make things understandable and give you confidence in your retirement.

As a part of our process, we cover:
-
Retirement Income & Social Security Strategies
-
Insurance & Estate Planning
-
Taxes in Retirement
-
Charitable Giving & Wealth Transfer
Our process entails:
-
Accounting for all of your assets and liabilities (investments, real estate, art & antiques)
-
Understanding your concerns and goals for the future (Retirement, Education, Charitable, Legacy)
-
Building a comprehensive set of financial projections (Balance Sheet, Tax, and Cash Flow)
-
Identifying opportunities for various trust and tax strategies
-
Creating a custom, tax efficient investment portfolio that minimizes risk while maximizing tax-adjusted return
MANAGEMENT
INVESTMENT
We take a research-based approach to our investing by balancing lowered risk, better returns, and income you can count on.

We use a mixture of traditional investments like stocks and bonds, along with alternate investments, to provide a diversified, low-cost, and tax-efficient portfolio.
We use innovative approaches like Direct Indexing, along with tax-efficient asset location, to create a portfolio optimized for building wealth.
We Believe
Markets
Are Efficient
Expenses
Matter
Market Timing is Impossible
Diversification Works
Philosophy

-
Controlling costs is critical. We use index funds as a means of controlling expenses, which keeps more money in your pocket.
-
We keep turnover to a minimum. As fiduciaries, we don't trade unless it's in your best interest.
-
Discipline matters. We don't make investment decisions based on emotion.
-
Diversification is key. Broad equity and fixed income diversification is the key to managing risk.
-
We aren't stock pickers, nor do we try to beat the market. Evidence shows this to be a fools errand. Investing, when done well, is boring.

Non-Profit Investment Management
Investing for Non Profit organizations requires a different set of services than investing for individuals.

We developed our outsourced Chief Investment Officer (CIO) service for non-profits to provide low cost, fiduciary investment advice to organizations needing assistance managing their endowments or other long-term funds.
By partnering with us, non-profits are able to focus on their mission, while we handle the investment process. We're also able to help with planned giving opportunities, questions arise.
Investment Management Governance
Before building a portfolio, we will work with your leadership and board to build an Investment Policy Statement and spending policy specifically for you.

Your Investment Policy Statement will be structured to incorporate both industry best-practices and conform to UPMIFA.
Investment Management Oversight
Our systematic approach uses traditional investments like stocks and bonds, along with certain alternative investments, to build a the right asset allocation for your organization.
Our proactive approach combines both active and passive management to better manage risk.
Investment Reporting
We will meet with your board, executive committee, or finance committee quarterly to review your portfolio.

We'll also work directly with your leadership to provide updates on potential investment and charitable giving changes that might affect your non-profit.
Non-Profit Asset Management Fees
.25% annually, no matter the portfolio size
Cost is a huge factor in non-profit investment performance, so it's important to know what you're paying.

Putting that difference into perspective, here's the difference in annual fees for a $2,000,000 foundation.

Average Financial Advisor: $34,400.00
Plentiful Wealth OCIO: $8,400

That's a $26,000 savings...each year!
That can be spent advancing your mission through additional services, hiring employees, or on supplies.
